Internet Marketing And The Role Of Email Marketing

Sunday, October 18th, 2009

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.

The Truth About The SEM Business Blueprint

Sunday, October 4th, 2009

Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey’s first Click Bank top sellers were Commission Blueprint and Niche Blueprint. Now, with their third top selling product, SEM Business Blueprint, some people are torn between accepting it for its own worth and merely attributing its current success to the reputation of its predecessors. In this SEM Business Blueprint review, we will examine what the program offers, as well as provide insight into its relative worth.
So, what is SEM Business Blueprint?
First of all, SEM is short for Search Engine Marketing. What this particular blueprint strives to accomplish is to show you everything you need to implement a money-making internet marketing business that will meet the needs of Main Street businesses.
SEM Business Blueprint is an innovative take on how to transfer internet marketing ideas to the physical market of the streets, where the demand for SEO and PPC services is increasing with each passing day.
After first answering the question of why so many brick and mortar establishments are now clamouring for this service, Steven Clayton proceeds to detail the steps you need to take to establish your own SEO and PPC service.
Steven then gives you insight into his proven system for setting up his client campaigns through a series of examples from real life. Steven Clayton then reveals the secret to locating those clients who are willing to invest thousands off dollars a month for your SEO and PPC services. This last part is amazingly straightforward, and immeasurably powerful.
Steven also gives you several valuable bonuses, including the exact template that he uses for his own website, along with PowerPoint presentations for new customers and budget spreadsheets.
The fact that each client pays a recurring monthly fee has got to be the best part of the SEM Business Blueprint system. With that simple fact alone, you can easily earn $50,000 a year with a handful of clients. Even better – five clients are easy to find! Especially when you consider that the system works just as effectively when you live in a town of 15,000 people as it does when you live in a major city of 10 million.
Even if you are completely clueless hen it comes to SEO and PPC, SEM Business Blueprint gives you all the information you need to make this program work. A lot of programs use the word blueprint to describe their systems, but here it is more than apt.
The simple methods used by SEM Business Blueprint achieve unbelievable results as you follow this flawless blueprint for true success.
So, we come to the proverbial $64,000 question? Does SEM Business Blueprint actually work as a method for enabling you to earn an online income? In that respect, we have to admit that it has no peers! The fact is that this is one of the most amazing and cutting edge products available today. I even found this program to be more useful that Commission Blueprint – and I can think of no higher praise than that. pst repair

3 Easy Steps To Get Your Opt-in list going

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

You finally realize that you need a good opt-in list. After reading countless articles and seeking expert advice and having read many success stories of people creating a small fortune with opt-in lists you finally decide to have one of your own. Then it happens, you think you know everything there is to know about opt-in lists and have followed the advice to a tee and you still weren’t able to make a profit.

In fact, you may be losing money. You maybe hiring writers to help you out, or there are some expenses incurred, even if you have a big list, but only a very small percentage actually who buys from you, you’re still losing profit. You’ll realize this after a few months when you see your statistics and sales figures.

So what could have gone wrong? Why have others succeeded where you have failed? The most common mistake is that you dived straight in. You chose a topic you think could be quite popular and would earn you money. This just not the case. Just because you wrote people from the list doesn’t mean they are going to buy instantly.

Here I will offer more advice, for those who have started an opt-in list and have failed, you can rejuvenate your failed venture. For those who are starting, here are three quick and easy ways to build a profitable opt-in list.

1) Get your customers to trust you and your products first. Just launching your opt-in list would not make you an expert and a believable seller. Publish many articles first before you start an opt-in list. Write about the topic you know and have started and used for your site. Try to join forums first to gain knowledge about your customers about their wants and needs and target those wants and needs. If you topic is web design for example, join a forum about web design and see what people are talking about.  Also look at what problems they have - their problems = your success.

Join forums from other sites as well. Provide expert advice and recommendations. When you feel that people trust you, you will be able to start your own opt-in list. You can build a base as well with other forum users. You can ask them to join your list. Friends are good customers, because they are honest. If they would buy from you, many other people would too. Put up a link to your site so that they may be able to see what your business is all about.

The certain truth is, the money will only come in when the consumers and subscribers believe and trust in you. They want a product or service that could be a good exchange for their money. People are not going to buy something out of your recommendation if they don’t know you.

2) Find a product or service that people want and need. Although it may not be your forte, if you provide a service and product that you have researched and learned about well, you can carry it on forward. Invest your time, effort and money that you could sell as well as the buyers or subscribers of your opt-in list can use.

While it is true that it is best to sell something that you have interest in, there are not many people who have the same interest as you if you decide to sell something that is not entirely popular or profitable. Do your research well and you would see the profits come in. Also provide your subscribers with promotional material that they could actually use and spread around.

3) Make friends with other opt-in list users. This is basically beneficial especially if it is someone who has already launched a successful opt-in list. These are people that have the experience in this venture and experience is still the best teacher. While there are many articles available for you on the internet to use, there is nothing like getting a first hand account from someone you trust.

Experienced opt-in list users will be able to tell you what to do and what not to do because they have gone through it. While different situations occur for different people, the general concept can still be very helpful. There are many bumps in the road and these experts can help you safely navigate them.

Building a profitable opt-in list doesn’t just happen overnight. There is a lot of preparation involved. Opt-in lists are built from scratch, as your list grows, you should also maintain the quality of your list. Keep it organized and manageable. Get or hire help if need be, just make sure that your subscribers are happy and satisfied and they will be willing to buy from you.

Starting a marketing business

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Brought to you by Jet Wood Lathe.Did you ever think of investing on a marketing business? one of the most common marketing businesses of today is network marketing business  which is capable of giving  you a very good foundation when it comes to advancing your career through marketing business.

The first thing which you can consider in beginning a network marketing business, same as any other business, you should come up with a business plan of your own. Like how would you like your business to grow with you as a marketer. It definitely is important that you know the basics like, what business are you going to put up with as well as your target market.

Were you able to ask yourself if you already have marketing business goals? You should have goals to make sure you meet the demands of your company and you meet the demands of the people that you provide your services to. You need to know how much time would it take for your marketing business to stay in the industry. It’s no joke to get into marketing business, there are many competitors when it comes to networking marketing business ventures. So better be aware that you don’t just need extra effort in making your business plans work, you’ve got to make your marketing business plan exceed expectations.

You must be aware that a network marketing business normally works hand in hand with companies who would like their products or services sold on the Internet. And these online users are your target market . You should be able to build lasting relationship with them, make them your loyal customers, might as well make them your friends. That would definitely be easier for you to gain profit in doing it this way though.

Since this is a marketing business that you would like to build your future with for a good start, don’t think of moving to fast just so you could reach your goals. Having your business develop gradually would give you enough time for adjustment when needed.
