SEO Help Guidelines
Monday, August 31st, 2009Many website owners wonder why they can’t get good rankings for their websites in Google. I decided that I wanted to give seo help and advice to webmasters that are struggling to rank well. When I opened up my first website, I couldn’t figure out why my rankings were so bad. Later on, I realized that I needed seo help and that all my links barely had any value.
My first links were from blogs that were dofollow, and the pages were all high in page rank. I would then make a signature with my links and post a comment on the page. Since the pages had a high page rank, I figured that I would be able rise up the search engines for my keywords. After waiting a long time, I realized that it wasn’t going to work out. The blogs had no relevance to my links, so they weren’t receiving much link value.
There is always bad information being spread about search engine optimization. In the beginning, I was led to believe that Google update the index during the toolbar update. Now I realize that it is updated constantly and that my links were just worthless. People complain about being in a sandbox when they first start a site, but it’s really just bad seo tactics.
The key to ranking well deals with relevant backlinks. If you start off getting links on pages that have nothing to do with your website, then you are not going to get good rankings. You have to focus on getting your keyword in the link anchor text. You should make sure that you understand this clearly because search engines are based on link algorithms. If you continuously build backlinks to your site that are on relevant pages, you will notice great rankings.
After a few months, your website will gain a lot of authority due to the value of the backlinks and you won’t need seo help anymore. It took me a long time to understand how to properly optimize my websites. The experts never like giving away the full truth because it makes you a competitor.
